Each surge of power tempts him, promising protection but demanding exposure. In the Defense Force, precision and loyalty are paramount — and Kafka risks violating both.

Within his team, the bonds have begun to deepen. They rely on one another completely, and that sincere teamwork sharpens the pain of Kafka’s secret. He knows that if he slips, if the monster bursts forth uncontrolled, friendships could turn into weapons.
